Light steel structure, i.e., building system of light steel construction, is the lightweight building of totally assembled steel construction, which is assembled of mainly high-efficiency structural steel and high-efficiency functional material such as hot-rolled light H-steel, lightweight welded steel section, high-frequency welded steel section, cold-bent thin-wall steel section, thin steel plate, thin-wall steel tube, etc. and auxiliary materials like various types of high-efficiency decorating and connecting materials, and can satisfy specific use function and specific room demand of building.
Advantages of light steel
    Good performance and strong deformability. The dead weight of the building is one fifth of the weight of brick and concrete structure, and can resist 70m hurricane, making the lives and properties be protected effectively.
    Durability: the residence structure of light steel construction totally consists of cold-bent steel thin-wall steel structural member system, the steel skeleton is made of super corrosion-proof high strength cold-rolled galvanized plate, which effectively avoids the effect of rusting during the construction and service process on steel plate and increases the service life of light steel structural members. The service life of the structure can reach 100 years.
    Heat insulation: the heat insulation material adopted is mainly the glass fiber which has good effect of heat insulation and isolation. The heat insulating board for outer wall effectively avoids the “cold bridge” phenomenon of wall body, and achieves better heat insulation effect. The thermal resistance of the R15 heat insulation cotton of about 100mm thickness is comparable to the brick wall of 1m thickness.
